Powertrain Options and Performance

The base models of these two vehicles (the 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 and the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300) both come standard with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, but their output is significantly different. The 2017 GLC offers 241 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, while the 2017 GLA offers just 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet.

Cargo Space and Features

Both of these models come standard with leatherette interior. The 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC offers up to 56.5 cubic feet of cargo space, while the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA tops out at 43.6 cubic feet.

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC also comes standard with several driver assistance features that are only available on the smaller crossover model. However, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA starts at a more affordable price point than the larger crossover model.
