New Active Suspension
Goodbye AIR BODY CONTROL, hello E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL! This new active suspension system integrates a hydropneumatic suspension and an air suspension to control all spring and damping forces individually for a smooth ride that limits body roll, pitch and squat.
Traffic Jam and Turning Help
A new driver assistance system, Active Stop-and-Go Assist will identify traffic jam behavior and help drivers in stop-and-go traffic up to 37 mph. New Active Brake Assist with Cross Traffic Alert will also help the driver stop if a car is coming when they go to turn across the opposite lane.
Three Rows of Seating
The all-new 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE will have a wheelbase that is longer by 3.1 inches than the outgoing generation, which allows for significantly more second-row legroom. The second row is also fully adjustable, and a third row of seating is also available, bringing total capacity up to seven.
The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE will also be available for the first time with fully-variable 4MATIC® all-wheel drive*, and will come with the elite new MBUX infotainment system, which features touchscreen inputs and predictive functions.
